Hi Jon

I just cleaned the manifold up with wire brushes and the other other bits I did in a blast cabinet. Degreased with panel wipe as I find that is better than a normal degreaser. Then three coats of an Ali appearance paint from Eastwood, quite pleased with the outcome.

The paint is OK to 300c so good for for most bits except exhaust bits

This is the suspension part that was found to be snapped,

It's the passenger side one that is damaged !

I thought it might be them and yes I have some! Because they fit to two things and are shimmed for camber control, it is important to match the shims up or the brackets break - as you have found!

Thanks for that tip as I didn't know that and there was only one shim behind it and two on the main bracket.

Does anyone know where to get the gaskets that sit between the manifold and carb mounting plates. Also why does the carb kit come with four gaskets for mounting the carbs to the carb mounting spacer.

Cheers

I think I asked before but does anyone have any of these available as one is broken and the other is worn. It's part of the upper wishbone assembly.

Sorry, completely forgot about this, I'll dig out a couple of brackets and some shims (if I can find them) when I go in on Monday.
