As a slight aside and blatant plug I do actually have a spare aluminium radiator, painted black. Brand new, never fitted. Might consider selling.

Cheers everyone for the replies. The rads in with the higher temp switch and is running spot on at half way on the temp guage. Cuts in when stationary so all seems well for now. Will see how it goes in the future but i'm happy with the mod over going down the route of recoring my knackered 1850 rad.

Does add a bit of bling, nothing wrong with that. Looks good through the grill. 8)
