More a sad reflection on the current state of the NHS I think Tony! :?

But you may have a point, IME a clean and tidy workshop is one that nothing much happens in! At least, that's MY excuse!

I'm performing an operation in there, face lift, you have to get all scrubbed up before you get in there or no entry.

Can someone recommend a 'suitable carpet' adhesive.

I hope to fit them next week if the valeter comes.

And also what's the best thing to reattach the door plastic with under the door cards, something as close to original as possible.

Hi Murdo, i would any of the aerosol adhesives or just evo stik. Gutter sealant best for plastic on doors as it does'nt fully set.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Everbuild-Ro ... Sw-3FZAwul

This can be bought at most diy stores or from ebay as above. And can be cleaned off with white spirit.

Tony.

Thanks Tony.

I'm needing 2 of the floor blanks where the rear seatbelts anchor if anyone can help.

If you mean the black, plastic bungs that seal the holes where the bolts go when rear belts are fitted, I may be able to find you a couple. They are quite hard to remove intact as they are throw away once the bolts are fitted. But I have a couple of scrappers I can raid!

Yes, those are the ones, needing to fit two as original owner had a child seatbelt fitted.

What I should have mentioned too and has just been pointed out to me, is I need a 'contact adhesive' that will still allow me to remove these bits of carpets if need be, no nothing so strong it'll cause damage if having to remove them again
