Yes I use a Saab 9-3 one too, just happened to have a scrap 9-3 handy and it fitted. As to "proper" Minis having a PDWA from 76 to 2000, I'll take your word for it Olie. I'm definitely NOT a Mini guy, only ever owned one, a steel side 68 Austin Countryman and it was an unmitigated disaster. (Yes, I know, someone would give serious money for it now) Probably cheaper not to mess with the design. Had a brand new 78 Cavalier fail it's PDWA on me on PDI road test and lost ALL brakes, the only catastrophic failure i've PERSONALLY had with one (one's enough, I was lucky and, unusually, not going fast at the time) Amongst other complaints I have about the thing is that they went to the trouble of separating the circuits then potentially joined them again via this thing, an engineering nonsense! The setup on the Dolomite seems to work only sometimes, I know people who've had single circuit failures that left the pedal so low, they THOUGHT they'd lost the lot! But enough! My views on the PDWA are well known and don't need restating here!
