David I could always bring it along, however it will be on the back of my trailer, not sure that would represent the car too well.

Sometimes I think work in progress cars give people more to talk about. Several of us stood around and watched xvi working (leisurely!) on the quicksprint at TDCIR last year.
It gave us more to talk about than
us "Bet thats fast"
xvi "yes"
us "thought so"
instead it was much more about the cars history, what had happened, how the wheel had come off xvis trailer, what was it like to drive home, what is not known about the car yada yada yada
Also gives you more of a variety...would nice to see some of the cars we see mentioned on the forum before they are done and some of the non shiny's coming out. Once I've seen BFR for instance I'd like to see Marts Track Sprint at a show....

Sorry guys, but we won't be going on Sunday. BFR failed the MOT test on handbrake adjustment

& bad earth on the rear lights (which I sorted the other day). Unfortunately my Bro-in-Law was unable to look at it today so no MOT until Monday.

handbrake adjustment, you would have thought the garage could have just tweaked it themselves......was really hoping to see your latest reincarnation as well.....oh well.

I am planning to come. Thanks to the TDC for the mailshot.
I haven't been to 'Milestones' for a few years but doesn't it have a licenced bar as one of the exhibits? Seem to remember that the mild was good.
Hope that the weather is a bit dryer than today.

If it is raining at least we can all sit in the bus to keep dry (small admittance charge may be charged

don't worry everyone, there is no door at the back of the bus, I reckon if we all gang up we can gatecrash it and not pay the charge !
