Just out of curiosity, is there a criteria to get the £9.95 entrance instead of the usual £16.00? Will probably go anyway, but always nice to get something cheaper!

I understand, but don't quote me on this, that there will be a seperate entrance for visitors/exhibitors to the Triumph show and you will be charged a tenner at that entrance. If I get chance I'll try and find out what the situation is, but more info is available on the page linked to at the start of this topic.

The above info is correct; gates open 10am, show ends at 5.30pm. Visitors to Triumph show should use seperate entrance, which will be signposted and marshalled, otherwise you'll be charged the normal admission fee (£16).

What a great day!!!! The convoy up was great, 2 sprints a pi and my stag.Quite a sedate drive until Lee sorted out his fuel pressure problem then WHOOOOOSHHHHHH, off he went 80mph plus.Lovelly noises from the exhaust pipes going through the tunnels. We certainly attracted lots of attention :D :D Ashame there wasn't that many autojumblers (no rimmers) but otherwise a great day out helped by the weather.

Aye, twas an excellent day. Cracking drive up in convoy, especially after Lee got the fuel pressure sorted on his p.i. Another Stag and a TR6 joined in the fun, so we had 6 good-looking, well sorted Triumphs making like a freight train up the outside lane of the motorway. We were at the back and what a sight it was ! (good excuse to play catch-up too, if you know what I'm saying  ).

Over 500 Standards and Triumphs turned up, spent ages chatting to so many people, fell asleep in the sun and got singed, even saw a working Catalina taxi past. I really enjoyed it. Big well done to the organisers.

The run home was great too. Off now for a celebratory cold one in the local.

It's days like today that make all the hard work worth while

What a great day, nearly 200 miles in KAC, seeing a Spifire, and Flying Fortress fly, sorting Kens carbs, constant kettle boiling, and tea mashing, Heaven knows how many hangers, and halls of toys, a field full of Triumphs and to cap it all, a blow out on the A46, 3 miles from home!!

Thanks to Ken, Mike and Val, Nathan, Yvonne and Scott, Marsh and Karen, Rob, Tom,and everyone else for making a Superb Day! \:D/
