Hi Neil,
I have an evo engine and running gear
But after considering all the work ive put into this shell
Making the intercooler ,Header tank, engine sump, gbox tunel /engine mountings etc etc/
If i wanted to fit this new engine its re.engineering everything it will put me back a loooong time ,
I want this car on the road ,
The engine will find its way into Alg1k
As i have all the molds done its not going to take me half as long to mod alg1k with this new engine and 4wd system.
About time you updated your build :-)
Cheers Daz.

I am so glad that you will be continuing to pop by and keep us drooling Darren.

Your workmanship is unparalleled and your attention to detail astonishing.

An extraordinary and addictive thread. Thanks for reassuring me that people still actually make stuff in this pleasant land.

So long as its high quality and low volume, I think we still lead the world....for the time being anyway; what will happen when our generation retires remains to be seen...

I have used self tappers to set it up ,
The front end I will use rivets at the top and where the radiator
vents are and bolts on the wing
Bottoms and bolts on the rest of the wings
I had to releave the top clip where it clips over with
The dremel as the cf is thicker than the steel and it
Sat a little high( prob the same as alums fb panels )

And will be making several spares which
I may end up selling to fund new parts for the car,
Carbon Kevlar bonnet tried on for fit ,
