Oi - that's my station car. I bought it off Jeanette and Danny a couple of years ago, thought about Sprinting it (still may do) but I'm using it at the mo. Lovely little car, much better than my Sprint (POE) which I'm getting ready for it's first track day (the shell I gave Mart was actually better than POE's - so POE is getting the track day treatment - really should update my thread).
I did put the Toledo up for sale (not very enthusiastically I must add) as I needed a station car, then thought - sod it use the Toledo, and I'm really enjoy driving it - getting loads of comments everywhere I go.
Why wasn't it at the station then?
Will it be at the Haslemere car show and tour on the 27th? I think I'm in with a chance of being your nearest Triumph, Lynchmere

About a grand a year, that's why. It'll be parked up where it is all the while they are not building houses on that unit (weeks/months/years) then I'll park back in the Midhurst road car park and walk.
Haslemere car show - I doubt it, too much work to do on POE, her first track day is Goodwood the following weekend (GRRC classic track day) I'll have POE and the missus will have her V8 Scim.

Saw 5 classics today in 2 trips from Totnes to Torbay this afternoon.
1) Heading out of Brixham passed what looked to be a "used"Jaguar XK120 in old english white.
2) Heading towards Brixham a fantastic looking Valencia Blue,J reg Mk3 Spitfire on chrome wires and roof down
3) Then,in Totnes a white A reg Morris Minor Traveller,again nicely used.
4) Black D reg Capri Mk3 Laser.
5) Obvoiusly my favourite,Orange 2 door,J reg Toledo, with alloys and rather low exhaust at Tweenaway traffic lights in Paignton at 4:50 this afternoon, heading towards Kings Ash

All in Wick,
this week I have seen two Vauxhall Astras, both mark two, one a black GTE 16 valve and the other was a GSi (I think).
An unusual car I saw twice was an X reg (prefix) Mitsubishi in black (Granada or BMW 5 series sized).
Finally a white c.'71 MGB GT. Which I think it may belong to a local hotel worker. The sound of an engine with push rods was suddenly
so familiar

.
I didn't see any of the Ford Cortinas (mark one) scheduled to reach John O'Groats last Friday.

Spotted this parked up in the Thames..
Saw a Typhoon fly over with an almighty roar, but sadly too quick for me to take a snap with my camera! There were supposed to be VC10 tankers and Boeing E-3D's on patrol too, but sadly I didn't see any of those!

Ocean in the river?!
Would have been awesome to have had Ark Royal there, imagine them launching Harriers off it on the Thames!

Sadly the Ark Royal and the Harriers are history.. but I had several chances to see them when I lived in Plymouth!!
Not much longer to see the VC10's either.. they're being replaced with Airbus A330's in 2014.. In fact the scrapping has already begun

I went round it the day before it was decommissioned, it didn't feel like a ship in need of scrapping, it was only two years out of a big re-fit anyway!
VC-10s are fecking ancient though, as are the Tristars. The very 60s RAF liveries (with the big flash of lightning stripe down the side) are awesome though

Most of them saw passenger service with BOAC

But you certainly can't beat the sound of four Rolls Royce Conway turbofans spooling up..
They're a truly awesome aircraft both in looks and sound..

I watched four of them taking off at Boscombe Down a while back, fantastic noise!
To get level 2 training you have to identify different planes, the "tip" for the VC10 is "the engines are at the back, nothing else is!"

Surprisingly rare to get one of those in a test of RAF planes though
