Hi Y'all

A little more updates on LEROY'S progress - Hopefully engine block and head should be back with us by Tuesday!

Front suspension fitted all new subframe bushes. Boot lid repair also!!!!!

















For those looking for Hubby you shall be disappointed i still haven't managed to snap that elusive man!!!!! I think he's now a permanent fixture in the workshop but don't worry i shall be snapping him sometime soon!!!!!! (haven't i said that before?)

Hi Y'all well its been ages since i posted anything on here!!! But i am sure gonna make up for it now!!!!!

The progress on LEROY is steady but sure!!!! Even through the starter motor episode

There's been preppin....and preppin.... and more preppin....So Hubby tells me

Yep you've probably got it in one.... wetflatting....sealing....priming....wetflatting...stonechip protection then more wetflatting....etc etc Hubby gives me the impression that this is heavy work

Well this is the progress so far.....

















I do wish Hubby would tidy up after himself before he takes photos - scruffy sod!!!!





















And yes there we go still not a hint of that shy retiring creature named 'HUBBY' I am sure he will pop up somewhere in this thread!!!!

Well Helloo Y'all

More progression on LEROY, unfortunately he's been sidetracked for a while now, squeezed into the corner of our workshop getting covered in dust, but i've got a few photos with more to follow tomorrow. He's almost complete just a few odds and ends to get tied up, but unfortunately i can't photograph him as he is now as i can't dig him out yet!!!!!......

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll be able to shift some of the cars in the workshop and get him out into the sun to take some PROPER photos!!!!

Excuse the state of the workshop - but we've had a couple of mad panic jobs in and when these photos were taken it was in a bit of a state!!!!

The following photos show the interior floor pans cleaned up etc, the engine into its home, and the finished bootlid in luverly maple And if you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of that shy nocturnal creature affectionately known as HUBBY!

NickMorgan - Sorry but he is THE International Man of Mystery!!!!!! If he showed you his identity he would have to shoot you!!!!! And he really really only likes spray guns - so it could get very messy!!!!!!!!!!

Right everyone as promised (a couple of days later than said) here's the last of the pics before he got unceremoniously dumped into the corner!!!!!!

Well Hello again folks!!!

I think its about time i updated LEROY'S thread.....

Since he was unceremoniously dumped into the corner whilst Hubby has been working on other things LEROY has had a new vinyl roof and the alloys are luverrly and shiny now with nice brand new tyres on... even the number plates are back on now!!!

We had to get another car out and then get another one in today so whilst this was going on i managed to persuade Hubby to bring LEROY out for some fresh air and photos just in time for MOT next week..... although he's got a couple of finishing touches to do like coachlines, rear badges and a damn good clean up

Hopefully following the MOT next week we shall get him out and about and take some more piccies....Then we're going to take him on a roadtrip for his restoration shakedown, to give him a bit of regular use etc, then unfortunately LEROY will have to go up for sale, so i guess this is a heads up for anyone interested on here!!!!!
