Count me in! I want to help out. No 70s gear though.

Sorry for the short notice. I've been busy with the loss of my Sprint & I've finally sorted out my blue Acclaim (needed a replacement petrol tank which I finally got round to fitting last Sunday) which is now my daily driver. When & where is the rendez-vous? Is it the usual place? I'm staying at the Express Holiday Inn by the BP.

Do I need to get a ticket?

How early?

Tickets are "on the day" only and the show starts at 10am so get there early and avoid the queues. Tickets are £10. Get there really early or turn up in a classic you can park in the cow sheds!

Hi All, this is going to be our first time for Sarah and myself, can anyone give use an idea what's the format, ie: who do we contact on arrival? (any mobile numbers) where do we go to with regard to parking? What's a good time to arrive? Any info would be a great help. Thanks Tom. :?

I guess it depends on whether you will be parking on the "spare stand" or not.

I think Andy has sorted the "spare stand" out, only know 2 cars on there at the moment, not sure on the other 2!

we really could do with a few more people in 70's gear, i thought more people would be up for this........

the first year i went it was a case of turn up, park where you could and follow everyone else to the ticket sales!! :lol:

If you want bargins get there and get your ticket before the gates open at 10am, food can be pricy so might be worth brining some sarnie's!!

I am a believer in the "bring your own sandwich" rule!

I will be making enough to last all of friday and saturday, and then buying some at a tesco in coventry to last sunday!

Go Tightwad me!!! Yay!!

Info for exhibitors and helpers;

We will be displaying a total of seven cars, all will need to be in place on the Saturday afternoon. We can get into the showground from 2pm onwards and passes will be distributed at the gate. If we haven't enough to go round, we can obtain more, so don't panic. I'll be around from about 2pm onwards and will have my phone with me. Passes are needed to get into the showground for setting up on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
The passes are valid until 9.30am on the Sunday, so people who NEED to be in before gates open to the public (i.e, to finish setting up) will get a pass. Anyone who is volunteering to help man the stand for an hour or two during the day will get their entry fee refunded by us. Any questions? PM or phone number in Dolly Mixture.

Yep, that's the bit. If you still fancy it.
7:30 about right?
