Mad Mart wrote:That was a great session Jon probably on a par with the one at Silverstone. That Golf was breaking incredibly early into the corners & caught me out a couple of times (that's how you managed to pass me. ). Can't wait 'til Chris gets his Tolly Sprint on the track...and Dave's Sprint.
Yes I know you were caught out with that one Mart it was one of those rare sessions that I call "target rich" and either of us could lose time and distance but it is clear that your beastie is a touch faster and I believe mine is a tad better on corners, bloody good fun what.
That Golf cost you several hundred yards but then I had two cars slow up in front which in a way was better cos we both got good footage of each other.
Chris is on the Chevette video as he passes a red top shovit.

Thanks for that, Jon, hadn't seen that one. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LuoY6-cVJOc Around 2 minutes in...

 Who's a naughty boy, then ?...guilty of my own pet hate at track days - those that overtake in the 'red zones' !
In my defence; I'd just like to say: That Chevette wasn't too hot through the bends (nor was the Lotus that I got stuck behind for the rest of the session), and my brakes were/are so much better than his 8) He was quite a bit quicker than me on the straights, though; so, I saw my chance.... and took it. A bit of 'tit for tat' - He got held up at 'Camp Corner' and I took advantage.... I got held up at Quarry; then he took advantage. Touché.

Same old story - outdone by cars with more straight line speed :(

Yeh Chris I tink there is a lot of difference between a guy who uses a "hole" to pass rather than as used to often happen someone barging in where there is no gap hence making their own.
I do admit to not using my brakes as hard as others and accidently overtaking :? mainly when another driver is deliberately not allowing a pass on the straight.
The mini in our vid was a one off :D

This was one of my favourite of all time sessions cos our Sprints sure kicked some ass.
