The passes have arrived at TDC HQ, although there aren't enough for everyone. We'll be able to buy a few more, so don't panic. The next step will be to organise the distribution of the passes and sort out what time we'll be setting up the stand on the Saturday/Sunday. Just be aware that the exhibitors passes are only valid during set up times (i.e. Saturday 2pm - 9pm, Sunday 7am - 9.30am).

I'll be there as early as possible on Sunday morning. I have to collect some bits of metal fairly locally before going on to Stoneleigh. I'll be travelling in the Amica. Andy, do you need the reg number?

Cheers

As mentioned above, we have 10 exhibitors passes for the show. These will be given to members who will be working on the Club stand and are valid from 2.30pm - 9pm on the Saturday and 7am - 9.30am on the Sunday. The plan is for Tom's car to be moved into the hall on the Saturday afternoon and for the display equipment to be set up (nothing fancy for this show, the emphasis is on the cars being worked on). Tom (or A.N.Other) will be on duty at the main entrance to Stoneleigh on the Sunday morning to distribute passes to members turning up to work on the stand. If you are not intending to be there before 9.30am, please let me know so that I can give your pass to someone else (we haven't enough to go round so we will need to buy extras at a tenner each).

Would anyone like to demonstrate polishing a set of Sprint alloys at the show? A set will be delivered to the stand which needs a "clean up". Anyone?

I'll be collecting from the Farm the following items on Saturday, which will be at Stoneleigh Saturday afternoon.

I'll take away Sunday.

Banner + Banner stand
5 off Sprint alloys

Trestle table

Old magazines

Table covers

Anything else needed?

Please remember, I won't be there until Sunday afternoon, but will help with any set up required on Saturday.

Hi All,
Hope to be there from about 08:45 on Sunday.
@ Andy : Yes, I do have a Sprint alloy polishing kit and lots of the compound. From my experience from about 09:00 till 17:00 is enough time to do about 2 1/2 wheels. This assumes they are not really corroded, they haven't been laquered and its just the outer alloy that needs polishing. I'd need extra time for removing paint (Nitromors) and any remaining laquer (thinners ) definitely outside the main work area. They won't have the same finish as diamond turned alloys but still look "O.K.".
If I am nominated for wheel polishing I think I should be slightly remote of any nice polished cars as it is quite dusty, grotty work. Shove me away in a corner somewhere.
Apart from that, yes, can do , unless you think I'd be more useful "spannering".
@ Alun ; And yes I have a fair number of the " Intergrip" panel clamps I can bring along.
Can bring 13A extension lead with ELCB etc; etc;
Any nominations for transport of parts from Reading / Farnborough Hants area to / from Stoneleigh that I can do while I'm around ?
I have one possible from Tin so far.
Cheers All,
Tony TDC 0091
