I do have but cannot modify that one. It's an very early lhd chassis no 95. That one must stay original. But donations in toledo 2 door form are welcome.

Re: Colour change dilemma
I think I just resolved my colour choice! There is a pic on the FB page of an Italian special edition in "storm grey of Milan" - possibly a BMW colour. It's everything I want, dark but still goes well with black vinyl, refined, not common and not too loud!

I just went to look at it on FB. Very nice indeed, adds a bit of class that does.

Like a Herald estate. Then what you need is a 2 door Toledo Estate, that will have a massive side window!

I thought of the rear end being like a classic Range Rover, like you said Toledo boot but the lower half pivots down with the upper frame opening up. That would go with the shooting brake style I think.

Re: Colour change dilemma
I was actually thinking (not measured to confirm) of using the top half of a Herald estate tailgate along with its hinges and shut panel/frame let into the Dolomite rear window opening. The 2 way gate is a great idea, my old Amazon estate had one, so you can sit on the lowered bit popping off at the peasants (sorry PHEASANTS) with the old 12 bore while your chauffeur drives you round the estate!James467 wrote:Like a Herald estate. Then what you need is a 2 door Toledo Estate, that will have a massive side window!
