When I phoned a local Evinrude (outboard motor) specialist and said I need a clutch dog and forward gear sprocket for a 1979 40hp gearbox he laughed and said that mine must be the only one still in use.

Just been offered as much space as we need (within reason of course) in an old stables complex which includes power, welding kit, and a 2 post lift, all available for use. And all for the same price per month as our 20 foot storage container.

When's moving day?

BOB the boats maiden voyage lasted about 15 minutes before the gearbox problem reavealed itself, oh that was after a pitstop to refit the steering cables so it steered the way you pointed it!
