A few new bits to put on, the headlights are benefiting from a couple of home made items.

Still attaching bits, using up all our Bank Holiday.
Fail on the sticking of the bonnet seal so far, not sure what to do next on that, EvoStik sticks to car but not seal.
Trims looking good.
Lighting wiring refurbed.
Rear Lights in but Head Lights still waiting for some small clips.... Getting nervous here the MOT is due.
Heads down for Tatton next weekend.

Which clips do you need? Try some High Temp contact adhesive, it sticks to anything. Comes in a tin from Martrim etc. I may have some still.

Thanks Mark.

Now I have a small problem,
two designs of sticker - which do I use? Top or bottom? (We also have the late one as used on Paul's car).

I've only ever seen this sticker on later cars; did the early ones have them? Does Len's car wear one?

The top one has an earlier version of the logo, but the bottom one has the correct clearance for spark plug gap...

What clips do you lack, I have various here...?

Thanks for the offer of clips guys, we seem to be sorted with something from good old Halfords!

Martrim are only in Sandbach so not far, never been though. Alternatively I have also used a nr identical product from Wayside adhesives online. The stuff you want is the high heat stuff ideally. They'll be at Tatton too I imagine, though of course you want everything done for then. I should be along one of the days, not sure which at this stage and I look forward to seeing VA6.

The top of those 2 stickers also has the valve clearance wrong. Its a typo but reads 0.008" instead of 0.018". The metric equiv is ok though.

Relax, MikeyB has done way more research than me and says no stickers. :D
