MMMMM... Triple egg, 5 slices of streaky smoked bacon, mayonnaise, ketchup, American mustard and HP, with 2 cheese slices all on a triple decker sandwich. Fantastic! Feel too fat to move now. :D

I have decided to do the London to Brighton ride again this year.

But, I've just sold my most suitable bike... And I am NOT borrowing that full suspension freeride bike again.
It may well have the I-drive system, but when sprung for someone a full 3 stone lighter than me, not a hope in hell.
My only other current choice...

Hmm, 24" triple wall rims, single speed 28-13, single rear disc brake, 13" framed, fully steel, very heavy bike (Though I am cutting bits off it tomorrow in an attempt to make it lighter  ) made entirely for jumping over things and throwing around.
Oh god. I need a roadbike.

I am impressed, that really is a very serious amount of noise you are making there. Here's an alternative approach, why not wait for you cup of tea to cool before drinking it like civilised people do?

Oh wait. Yes, yes I see now.

Long drive tomorrow - all the way to "hoik" (apparently spelt "Hawick") and back with a car trailer. Wonder what a C5 HDI is like at towing......

On topic

A C3 with a 1.6hdi is incredibly torquey and excellent for towing.
