2009 Enfield Pageant

Yep, it's that time of year again. The Enfield Pageant ....... (held in Enfield ) just off the A10, just off J25/M25, just off the A406.

Dates: 23rd - 25th May 2009. Price: dunno yet. However, if you register as attending with a mini you get in free. Cos it's the mini's 50th birthday this year.

only cars biult before 1973 and no late entries on the day so sod going to that show

I thought it applied to all minis, even the german ones
Hmm. They're charging £9 to get in on saturday and £7 for the sunday and monday. I think they are trying to claw back money lost on the last 2 pageants.

Mind you, the council charges them £30K to rent the playing fields, they paid £8K for the fencing and £1.5K for the portaloos.

Beautiful day so far. However, grey clouds are forming. Especially irritating as I have spent several hours polishing an Aveling & Porter Steam Roller. Forecast says: ......... rain for Sunday and Monday. Arse!

I'm going tomorrow, hopefully it'll be ok.
