On one of the chicanes at around 2min 50s ish big bang and then theres not much boost so i use more revs as i was short shifting due to the weather and slick back tyres
Videod of my n95 phone and in a handsfree holder so not the best quality LOL

Hope its not too expensive to repair Darren, I will have to see the vid later as my computer is sloooooow as my car.
Good to meet up again (the last was over 5 years ago!).
When your out on track all the spectators are making comments about how good your car is.
We will bring ours on a trailer next time.

Ooh, my car is in that video a bit. The one that looks beige on the right. :D

The acceleration is absolutely brutal...

Had a good chat with him
He does track days all the time he said he was doing 3 this week
I had heard hes done thousands of laps at combe
Going to have him come out with me and show me where im going wrong ( apart from driving a Dolomite )
His car has a tuned v8 and weighs just shy of 900 kgs
Everything on it was alloy or plastic
He was also running which looked like new toyo wets
And i have to admit i havent driven the car in anger or done a track day in ages so was taking it on the cautious side
Compared to how i normally go for it
Just had a chat with some one on another forum and he said
Yes I can believe that Daz - I don't think i've been down there and NOT seen him.
It does go very well - keeps many big power Fords honest...

Looking at him i would say he is retired and this is his main hobby
Lucky git

Yes he did very easily
If i hadnt had to run that stupid exhaust
and loosing the boost may have helped
He does live at the track though and has done a LOT of laps so that helps alot
Also i really didnt want to stuff mine as its the first track day for me for a long time and was taking it very gingerly
A friend of mine has a little MG that runs rings around him and its only a 1.8

Do not underestimate the MG and driver combo he is well known and some say the fastest road car that visits Combe.
Am very pleased that your car is sorted Darren and yes we will ave another go 8)
