Looks like Sheila will be going to this in September which leaves us with a small problem of finding a reasonably close, and even more reasonably priced, campsite. Searching the net has given a few possibilities but most of them are around 20 - 30 miles away from Beaulieu so does anyone with local knowledge know of anywhere they can recommend - or even are just aware of - closer?

You need to go on Forest Holidays - stick it in your Google.
The main sites are near Brockenhurst which is a very short drive.
There is Longmeadow (vast, can be noisy at night - a favorite with the "younger set").
Something Hollands (vast - by main road so can be noisy, linear shape so can end up miles from loos)
Roundhill (the one I would go for - the former RAF Beaulieu, loo blocks are brand new, very nice indeed)
I hope this helps.

Thanks for that, Martin - Roundhill looks just about ideal

Ashurst is also a good place to stop and at least has some facilities including a pub a short walk away.
