Get Set For Winter 2009

I'm thinking of organising a day during September / October to provide Dolomite owners with the opportunity to prepare their cars for winter roads. Places will be limited to maybe half a dozen cars over the course of the day, with the chance to use my kit and facilities for application of underseal / schutz / waxoyl etc, give their car a thorough inspection over my pit etc etc. I'd just like to se if anyone is interested before I choose a date.

I presume my place is already booked??!! Just to be sure.... this is an expression of interest.

Last years winter prep worked a treat as it happens.

I'd definately be interested in this Jod - I'm not too far so let me know what date you are thinking about.

Cheers

Drills, grinders, MIG welder, plenty of compressed air, jacks and stands, sockets, spanners, timing strobe, carb balancer, etc etc etc its all here. Tea & Coffee as well. Chippy just down the road, not vast amounts of space for parking but we'll manage I'm sure. I'll see if I can talk Bird into getting the BBQ out and doing some burgers etc if its a nice day.

Haven't really thought about it but a Save The Children donation would be most acceptable.

Bring your own underbody coating of choice or I can supply and apply schutz or wax/oil/fibrous bitumen blend for reasonable cost.

So, interested so far we have:

Angie
Stuart
RON13R
Ken
Mochelotti Rob

So realistically space for 1 or 2 more.

Lump hammers and Lucozade bottles available for trim fitting and autobox users.

Jod

A generous offer and a great idea!

I'd love to come, partly to get a good look under the car, partly to get advice from others.

Please, book a spot for me :D
