The Triumph Dolomite Club - Discussion Forum

The Club will be displaying a fine selection of members' cars at the NEC, Birmingham from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th November. This is the highlight of the year for classic car enthusiasts, so please come along to our stand (number Stand-1C16), located amongst the other Triumph club stands. Club members may buy tickets at £5 less than the normal admission rate by quoting a special code when booking tickets. The code can be found in Dolly Mixture or in the members-only section of this forum.

Well, we're just about set. We have 5 cars again this year, my Sprint, Madmarts latest resto, Alun's Quicksprint, Bruce's 1300FWD, and Bill Shanklands 1500SE. We should be having the usual display of memorabilia plus photo's and videos on the TV (the old club pre '74 racing vid, Andy's collection of Sprint/Triumph related stuff, the old footage of Ted Middleton's cars being put through their paces, some of Madmarts track day vids etc etc). A selection of club T-shirts etc will be available on Saturday and Sunday. There will be free tea and coffee available and somewhere to take the weight off your feet. There might be some sweeties too but be quick because our mates in CT send regular raiding parties (and they are only next door this year !!)

Mary & I were only there on Sunday and it was a great show. Many thanks to Carl & Becky for organising & setting up the stand again. The stand looked even better this year and there was a lot of interest, again, in our cars.
