Hello All,

For now i need to spec an electronic system that will work easily on my sprint. Reading on the lumenition site it states that some systems will not work on the 44d dizzy due to cap height issues. What system is a straight forward fit ? Do i need another spec of cap ?

Any help would be great

Regards
Andy

There is a Lumenition kit for the Sprint. Plenty of other makes too (Magnetronic, Newtronic/Pirahna etc etc) Sit back and wait for the replies or do a forum search, this had been discussed many times before. Hope you get something sorted. Leccy ignition is a very worthwhile mod (but always keep a kit to convert back to points with you, just in case  )

Hi Andy, magnetronic MTK 007 will fit nicely under the original cap. Easy peasy to fit, two wires. Black to neg on coil, Red has to be extended to get to the fuses and then connect it to an ignition controlled live. You might have to tweak the dizzy a little after, then job's a good 'un.. :)

Be careful when fitting - the screw provided to attach the module to the baseplate is ever-so-slightly too long, which causes the module to come lose... It took quite a lot of head-scratching to work that one out!!!

Other than that, it is a fantastic addition and I am very happy with mine :)

Yup MTK007 fits easily and the improvement is huge.
Can't speak more highly of it really.
