Wolfrace wheels

More of a general inquiry than a serious search at the moment, hence posted here and not in the wanted section. I fancy a set of these for the car in 13 or 14 inch, does anybody have any?

There was a 14" set on eBay recently... I was tempted but not sure if 14" would fit on a Dolly!

Iirc, 14" wheels do fit with a bit of work...

I think it was Lewis that posted about them before.

My dolly has 14" wheels shod in 185/60 tires with no rubbing, arches arn't rolled but car is at standard height.

Mine is lowered quite a bit so I suspect that I'll have to go for 5.5x13", It's getting them with a 3.75 pcd that seems to be the problem.

Depends on what profile tires you use, I'm lowering my car in the next couple of weeks so I'll just put lower profile tires on if need be. I think some guys have 15's on their dolomites.

Spooky.

I decided that a set of "winter wheels" might be worthwhile for mine and spent last night browsing ebay for Minilites then Wolfraces (without success)

What PCD/Offset do I need to look for? (or any other technical stuff?).

I'm in no rush so suggest if you find a set flag it or PM me as I don't want to bid up a set against a fellow forum member.

EDIT - Mine isn't lowered so 14" might be OK for me.

it occurs that Triumph front ends were popular with hot rodders for a while as were wolfies so it might be possibale to pick up a couple of pairs

Wolfrace (back in the day) did a number of applications for the TR7. My own TR7 wore Woolfies for a while.

Those are the boys you need to find.

Iirc Stag wheels don't fit, well not without a lot of hassle.
So surely by association wheels for a stag would be much the same. (thinking out loud)

4.5" pcd on Stag wheels, if I was to go to the trouble of changing that I think I'd go for Fords 4.25" pcd. Many more options then for wheels and brake upgrades

OH now I get it! In Australia "Wolfies" are called "Jelly Beans" because the holes in the radius are shaped like jelly beans. Hmmm Now I want a set :P
