Anyone else looking at going to this?
I've been invited to go... By the Cortina Owners Club.
Somehow don't think I'll fit in...

Am I going?
Nothing will stop me, this event has been the deadline I gave myself last summer, to get my car painted, tuned and trimmed.
Would be good to see another Dolly there.
I love it, anything goes, but will be massively outnumbered by HotRods, Muscle Cars and Fords. Let's fly the Triumph flag!
Hope the weather will be better than last year.

My flag will only be at half mast I'm afraid.
Won't be anywhere near finished.
But yes, good weather would be nice!

Ah, knew I forgot something. Thanks Lewis!
Glad to see they sorted the date out on that page now. Not long ago it said the 10th for some reason...

Good plan Justyn, there was a very low Triumph turn out last year, so it would be good to have a small convoy.
I would advise an early meet up, the entry roads can get very clogged up if you leave it late.
I will search around and see if there are any popular meet up points.
Who else is up for it then?
Martin? can we get two 2 doors on show at the same time

Top idea. I suggest meeting up well in advance of the opening time.
In years gone by it's taken well over an hour to get to the site from Wellington Roundabout.
I'm in and I'm going to be introduced to a Dolly owner near my mates house in Farnborough, so will invite him too.
Will also give him a prod about the club too.

Do we pay on the gate or have to preapply?

From what I remember, it's pay on the gate.
I'll call them up on Friday to confirm that though.

So, who's going to this?
Weather almost guaranteed to be shocking and car is far from where I wanted it to be.
Temp gauge has given up.
Have no interior at the moment, no carpets, no door cards. Have to try and fit Bucket seat, on custom seat frame in garage with no light at some point this week, otherwise I literally can't drive it.
Car is covered in polishing residue from body shop.
Leaking fuel tank.
Ride height all over the place after fitting my Allycats.
No door or boot rubbers so bound to get water coming in.
No time to fit front spoiler or bumpers back on.
But, aside from that, I have got an MOT and this show is a must, so it's a big Yes from me
Who else?

Just got to tax my car on Thursday... Then drive it to my mates garage and do the last few bits on Thursday evening...
And it is pay on the gate, no set time to arrive by either.
