Well its time i tidyed up NFX as a long winter has taken its toll on my poor sprint.I was all for selling up and jacking motorsport in however a recent trip to the Stonleigh show and an outing marshalling a classic rally has brought renewed enthusiasm and ive got the bug again. So i know its not really a resto thread more of a tidy up thread but i reckon it belongs on here. I use my sprint every day and its reliable most of the time, but ive got a list a foot long on the garage wall and its time i sorted it out. Its a far cry from last year

Lets see the bodywork,
Windsreen corners are going
The box section behind the dash has a hole in it
The rear near side quarter needs attention
Nearside sill at the front has a hole
Front eyebrows bubbled
And the windscreen is stone chipped twice (bloody gritters )
The engine has several leaks most notable is the cracked timing cover and the fuel pump.
The prop or diff has a nasty knock when i put me foot down so that needs looking at too

O dear. A recent visit to my friends farm where NFX is kept has made me feel quite ashamed really.
I parked her up over a year ago and removed the dash and windscreen to repair the bulkhead and then
got busy with getting married so NFX got ut to the bottom of the list as we had me dads stag to restore for
use as our wedding car.
So now all thats done and decorating houses blah blah i can get back to it but going back to the farm was an eye opener.
i have pics ill put up soon but its not pretty
