WCR40, World Cup Rally 40th Anniversary 18 Apr

The Triumph 2000/2500/2.5 Register, Landcrab Owners Club and Austin Maxi Owners Club have organised a World Cup Rally 40th Anniversary event at Heritage Motor Centre Gaydon on 18th April 2010. The plan is to get all the surviving cars together along with cars from other marathon events. The displays will be outside and film shows talks inside.

I followed the Brown car with the big arches and Unipart logo's along the A45 into Coventry on Saturday.

Lost sight of it when I stopped for Petrol.

Great to meet up with you Jeroen, and Ronald, Tjakko, and Hans. Hope you had a good trip home. Your car is amazing !

What a day, so much better than I was expecting. I even got a picture of me with Brian Culcheth just after he had given a talk on his exploits in the rally. Anyone fancy driving flat out on mountain roads for 41hrs !!!!!!!
