[quote author=maph2 board=eam thread=78503 post=1038440 time=1270556057]Hi all,
I want to let everbody know about a planned classic/retro car show being held in Warwick town centre, 22nd August 2010.
Based on the success of the Austin Healey 3000 concours event that was held in the town centre Market Place in 2009, I approached the Town Centre Manager about a regular classic/retro show in the town. He thought it was a great idea and we have a date set for August this year.
The show will be a pretty informal affair, just turn up, park and enjoy the town and its attractions. All we ask is that cars are parked up for a good 3-4 hours to avoid too much movement. If you don't know about Warwick, it has one of the UK's largest castles (http://www.warwick-castle.co.uk) as well as museums, plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, located about 5mins from junction 15 M40, 12 miles south of Coventry.

The Market Square is a great venue for a show with the pubs, cafes right on site. It can hold approximately 50 cars. In the Square is a Lloyds pub serving food all day, 2 other pubs, restaurants etc
