a buddy of mine ran a bodyshop in saudi and he himself was a panel beater (good) he had indian tin smiths working in the shop who he said were superb most repairs were done and finished with the some needing nowt or a minimal of stopper etc.. but i guess thats a bit to far for you to go :lol:

Depends on what you want; the chap who does the Club repair panels is good, but limited to 2D curves with the equipment he has.

Otherwise there is BK Sheet Metal in Hinckley who specialise in one offs and prototype panels as well as general sheet metal work...01455 633511. They ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

have seen them at dub freeze recently dont know if he does other things but worth asking

my body guy in kings norton is sh1t hot, properly trained panel beater, you may have seen what he managed to do with john glen's mrs' toledo wing. his repair patches are so neat you cant tell under primer, but i doubt he'll be interested unfortunately, he knocked back repainting mr speddy's herald (oops sorry, vitesse), which is a pukka solid car, because he says after orange he only wants easy stuff to do!

a real shame coz he really is a top guy.
