Cheers guys. It is indeed the one from ebay. There are pictures in the 'nice tc' thread that I took today. I will do something here as soon as possible. It is my intention to use this a couple of times a week, here and there.

Right then, here are the pics that I took this morning. The car needs a clean inside, just a freshen up really.

Not that far off I reckon.

Basics to sort out in time:

Voltage stabiliser
Fit the new front shocks and lowered springs that were destined for LD
New rear shocks and springs eventually
Blue vinyl seats
A pair of speakers as the single dash one is in use at the moment.
Maybe a clock

That looks like a lovely little car, Ken. Your pictures are far better than the ones that the seller had on eBay. I have to admit that I prefer the look of the earlier cars. You have certainly done well there.

It would be nice to get the two GYM's together one day, just as they probably sat in the supplying dealers compound together all those years ago. My old TC resides in Faversham in Kent now, so maybe Bromley Pageant next year?

That's a cracking looking Triumph (not a DAF) Ken!

Had an uneventful trip back to Norf London in the newest toy. There was a slight nudge to the upper white band on the temp guage but that settled after a couple of minutes and stayed put through very, very heavy M25 traffic. I might just fit a new thermostat and thermoswitch thingy anyway. It can't hurt.

First impressions? Quite smooth actually and a blessed relief re: leg and back, what a difference! Not as nippy as LD but I think with a good tune and carb balance it should improve. There is a teensy leak of ATF, I will have a look proper at some point soon.

She needs a good clean both inside and out. I will attend to the minor cosmetics as soon as. I will replace the fuel hoses and fit a filter as a matter of course. Will also clean up the earths, etc. The wiper switch is a bit wibbly in the front to back movement, but I have a couple spare. Slight rattle at times re: exhaust, I will check the mounts. Stainless would be nice but I will have to save up for that.

I have a new boot seal to fit, just because it's there and is taking up space in my garage Might also fit a clock. The radio is pants, even though it's an FM model. I will fit my NOS MW/LW set at some point. I wonder how much it would be to get it converted?

I think the Gemini alloys would look ace on the car but it will stay original for now. Seats are comfy but I need vinyl!

One thing I noticed, the voltmeter isn't working. I hate electrics though, so I might just ignore it..... for now. Fuel guage and temp guage are fine? New voltage stabiliser? Oh and it needs shocks and springs sorting otherwise I will get seasick. I have new ones for the front with the uprated springs. Might try and source a front ARB too.

All good so far - fingers crossed.

Made a start on the interior today. Carpet looks very recent, just needed a vacuuming. Headlining is virtually mint and had minimal grime. Now shines like a new 'un. Dash is fine, nothing horrible at all. Looks like something spilt on the passenger side of the dash shelf (the actual name for it has just gone) but I'll just get a small bit of black carpet or similar. Door panels were the dirtiest bit of the interior but have come up beautifully. The rears have a small amount of warping but it's not worth whingeing about.

Have bought some new fuel line, I'll fit that later today.

Bloody hell ken, your cracking on already, can't wait to meet you and snowflake on friday.
