Details of all our local meets and contact details for our Area Reps are listed in Dolly Mixture on the Area Meets page. I believe the South Wales group has a monthly meet in Cardiff.

The deal with the southwales meets is we all grab a slab of beers, head off in to the hills, get drunk and slur on about Dolomites

Personnally, I love being in South Wales - ok, when it rains it's really horrible (that's Sept to March basically

), but when it's sunny, it's FANTASTIC - particulaly where I live with the Gower and the Brecon Beacons all close by.
Also, it's so much warmer than where I grew up (Surrey) due to the Gulf Stream - when I go to my parent's, I really notice the difference!
Got to agree with Ceri - having been at Uni in Manchester, that place is sooo much wetter.

Last time I went to the Brecon area it was snowing! vivid memories of sliding round Epynt and Halfway in a rally car and offering prayers of thanks to whatever inspiration had led to the driver getting new tyres the day before...

We currently have a vacancy for an Area Rep for the South Wales region. Any volunteers? Email me, telephone me (contact details in Dolly Mixture) or send me a PM for a no-obligation chat to find out more.
We still have vacancies in several other areas as well, so if you haven't got an Area Rep at the moment in your area, why not volunteer? It doesn't involve much really, but can be very rewarding.
