Standard-Triumph Marque Day Sunday 29th May 2011

The Standard Trimph Marque day for 2011 will be held at Imperial War Museum Duxford with the same format as last time (2009). Date to be confirmed (May) by the end of this Month.

Bloody good day out last time out at Duxford for this event, loads to see at the museum with loads of beautiful classic planes being flown, as well as a vast amount of Triumphs on display!!

I'm sure will can put a convey together from Coventry for this one!!

Entry £10.95 per person which also gives access to the Imperial War Museum.

I suppose its O.K. just to turn up to this on spec ;? I imagine there will be some sort of "Triumph only" car=park. We'll be in convoy with a friends Vitesse.
Just as a though, anybody need any bits transporting to Duxford from the Fleet ( Hampshire) area /or near Reading or from Crawley where I will be on Friday perhaps ?

I will be there on Sunday. A few of us are meeting in Mcdonalds carpark in Walsgrave Coventry CV2 2RZ at 08.30 for a mini convoy down to Duxford.
Anybody is welcome to join us if you are from the area or passing down the M6 from further North.

Yes, a good day out. Unfortunately we came in on the M11 and there were no signs to the Triumph car-parking so we were waved through into the main visitor car-park. We should have continued along the A505. Never mind we'll know for next year. Some nice cars there and the museum was brilliant. I'll post some photos later. And it was good meeting some of the people as well.

Went along, windy and warm but no rain.

I found myself parked in Stag row, I hope they didn't mind my lowly Dolomite parked there..



Some quality cars there but I expected more, and by the time I took the pics, a lot had gone early..a shame.





It's always a nice location and yet again, met and chatted to a lot of people!
