Val and I are arranging a Treasure Hunt around the Warwickshire countryside on Sunday 31st July. Starting at the Royal Oak, Brandon and finishing back there for a meal. Time to be confirmed. Anyone interested in joining us for a fun day out with the cars?

I'll be there Mike. Hopefully Hannah will come along too. If the 1850 is finished I should be able to drag Dad down to show it off too. Will probably need to confirm numbers closer to the time.

We would like to come along but would be travelling from York mid morning. This may only be able to make the meal but that would still be good.

Look forward you to seeing you all on Sunday. We have at least ten cars taking part, maybe more - everyone welcome. We will set cars off from the Royal Oak at 10.00am, which should give you plenty of time to find the answers and work your way back to the pub for some lunch or a drink.

I got the 1850 MOTed on Thursday after 10 months stood up - so we hope to see you tomorrow (3 of us). Although it did break down on the way home..... Elec ignition going on tonight and check last two plugs and fuel pump filter. Fingers crossed!

On behalf of myself, and the 35 plus other people that turned with around 11 Dollys, or TC's, 2 FWD's, 1 Stag, a Jeep and a Jaguar convertible, plus we said we wouldn't mention Barrys Focus, so I won't, a great big thanks to Mike and Val for organising a very pleasant run around the Warwickshire countryside, with some devious questions en-route!

Lunch followed the run, with the Pub coping well with the slight lift in numbers from around 20 to around 40!

I'm sure pictures, and other tales will be along soon!

Thank you mike and val for all the organisation ,great weather,some varied clues,lovely meal,lots of cars ,great company,what more could we hope for.

Thank you all for coming along and joining in the fun - it was a brilliant turn-out! What an amazing sight to see all the cars lined up at the end - particularly when you hear the heroic stories of those who battled to get their cars ready just for the run!!
