Hi guys

I would like to ask, how many would be interested in attending the "Eden Camp WWII" musuem.
The gathering is a great chance to discuss,meet up and share idea's etc. But it is also a brilliant oporunity to take in the world war two museum (one of the very best in the country)

I have spoken to the organizers of Eden camp and they would like to know "roughly" how many cars maybe attending.

The gathering will be on the grounds of Eden camp. so.. it is a day for all the family,with eating facilities,(mess halls) gift and a merchandise shop etc. I would at this point "assume" the parking of the cars is free. But entrance to the museum states £5 on the website. But we may get a discount as this is an organized event.

Who's interested. (date) - this isn't yet know as we would need to get this advertised in the dolly mixture ( so could be october )

October is the best month for Eden camp,as August is one of their busiest months. can't be the 15th of october as they are holding an event on this day (re-union)

So possibly the weekend after? 23rd october.

Sounds like a cracking good venue, but please be aware that the Club is already supporting a number of major events in October/November and may not be able to commit the resources to this event which it rightly deserves...might be a better idea to make it a Spring 2012 event?

Changing the dates shouldn't be a problem.

Should be a really good event/gathering. been to Eden Camp loads of times and the the museum is something to really look forward to seeing. should also be a good opportunity to get some really great pictures too! as they also have spitfires,lancaster bombers,tanks and half tracks outside too.
