got me a dolly
hi guys i'm now a proud owner of one 1300 dolly... it was the one on e-bay (in cardiff) yes i know i said i was skint and yes i said it wasn't worth the money the woman was asking.. £100 taxed and tested.. now all i have to do is fix clutch. do the welding. fit a vinyl roof. and find some sprint alloys and i'll be a happy camper.
ah now it looks likes the woman aint gonna sell me the 1300 dolly after all.

i bid and won the auction fair and square. £100 sorted.
now she is saying that she put a reserve on the listing.... be bu*&er if i can see it.
e-bay even sent me e-mail saying i won..
so god know what is happening now apart from me being totally peed off with the whole thing
e-bay dont make me laugh>>>>>

Looks like its yours to me. I had the same myself once. I bought an 1850 for 350 and the bloke said he sold it just before the auction end. I wrote to ebay and there are a few things you can do, but I couldn' be bothered. Worth checking though.......

If you want....
You can give me a ton and have an S reg 1300 with a slipping clutch and in need of clutch hydraulics but it has no MoT but needs no welding...
and is quite tidy with a good engine. Flamenco and a few scabs but sound.
PM me if interested...needs collecting from Somerset.
I was going to up sepc it with a Sprint sub frame but I can always do another one...

tell her you will take her to the small claims court for breach of contract
it will cost you about £60 to do the papework but she will have to pay that back to you.
you can also claim back resonibe costs for loss of earnings ,inconvenienceo chasing the claim ect.
just telling her this may make her back down.

From the book...
Length 4122mm
Width 1588mm
But when towing a dolomite, there's only one dimension you need to know about, which is:
Rear Track 1290mm
The dolomite is almost unique in that the rear track is narrower than the front track, and quite a few trailers I've seen haven't had wide enough tracks to get the rear wheels on properly.
