I've just had an e-mail from Steve W. (the former chairman) who is considering booking a club stand at Harewood for this year's NDD. If anybody is interested then please get in touch with him. He doesn't use the forum much so it would be best to either e-mail him (cpsairedale[at]ntlworld[dot]com) or I can PM his phone number.

Let's make this year's NDD better than the last one.

Steve here - yes I know I rarely use the Forum, but this time! .....
Northern Dolly Day will be held as part of a large and interesting Classic Car day at Harewood House, near Leeds. Normal admission charge for entries is a fiver, but local funds will pay for the first 10 entries. The entry permits give you access to many of Harewood's attractions - Grounds, below stairs exhibition, bird garden and adventure playground, worth, they say £33.00 for 2 adults and up to 3 children. So bring the family along. We will have our own club area and Janette says she will bring along TDC Regalia.

If you want to attend, please let me know - send me your name and address and brief car details and I will send you entry permits when they are received from Harewood. My e mail address is in Dolly Mixture (this display is intended for club members only, so not publishing my address info here!).

As Dave says, let's make this a a worth while event.

Who else has put their name down?

Just been on to Harewood re passes etc. Seems they will not be sending them out until 1st week June. So I will send them on to those of you who have said you want to come immediately I receive them. So far 9 cars coming plus hopefully I will have use of a re-painted 1300FWD on the day too.

I cannot see your name and address on the TDC membership list. Have you dropped out? Need your address for passes, that is if you are coming to Harewood. Please get in touch ASAP. Not many entries, looks like another TDC apathy episode. Only 8 cars booked in, what's wrong with members around here? It's a free do for members too.

Ive only just joined the forum, but i would be interested in coming, if you'll have me!? Im only in huddersfield and Ive been to shows at harewood a few times in the past!

But if its members only then I can understand! where can I join??

Triumph Dolomite Club members may obtain free passes for the show (we have a small number left so reserve yours now!), but non-members are very welcome to attend although there is a £5 admission charge (on the gate price £10). These advance tickets must be pre-booked. PM me and I'll pass on your message to the organiser if you would like to reserve a ticket.

It's not looking too bad now. 10 cars entered - space for 15 and hopefully a 1300FWD should be ready for me to bring. Any last minute entries? Please contact me on my normal e mail address.

I'm just wondering why this thread has been "unstickied". Was it because it was postponed? I'm sure Steve will let us know once the new date has been set.

This info received too late for August Dolly mixture. Seems the Harewood show is not going ahead at all this year. HOWEVER all those tickets I sent out can be used for a family of 4 to visit Harewood House any time up to end of October

There will hopefully be a show there next father's day and all those who entered for this year will receive, via me I, entry permits for that event. It will be on father's day 2013. Pray for a decent spell of weather!

Regret I won't be able to get to TDCIR as other commitments that week end.
