Hi all - I have been shamefully neglecting my friends in the Club but rest assured the car is still running!!

Anyway, last year at Selkirk there was talk of moving the Scottish Dolly Club Stand from Selkirk to Moffat this year, for a change of scenery.

The Moffat show is 23rd and 24th June 2012 at the Moffat Showground - the Saturday is the rally though there are usually cars and stalls on the showground, but from memory the Sunday is much busier at the showground.

Our area rep, Allan Cassie, has entry forms and can photocopy them for people, and is aware that some people are already planning to enter individually. What we'd like to know is, is there sufficient interest to put together a club stand? The rally is strictly limited to 900 cars, and once it's full it's full, and so we would need to be quick to ensure we got enough spaces.

So, can you reply pronto with a committment to the date for a club stand and if there are enough then we'll take it forwards, or else get in an individual entry asap if you want to be sure you don't miss a place!!

After two years of promising, this year I'll definitely turn up, probably for both days but travel each day from Edinburgh if possible.
Unfortunately my car is more tatty than ever, but after seeing some of the entrants two years ago (on the Saturday) that won't offend anyone.
I'll dig out Allan's contact details and get a form.

When will the Scottish Dolly Day in 2012 be held?
I went to the Moffat Show last weekend, spoke to a very nice guy from Carlisle with a French Blue Sprint who was very helpful to me with some buying advice.

Is there a date for 2012? or have i missed it? Would be keen to attend.

I'm keen on a meet in Scotland if I haven't missed it ?
