Would that be BRG perchance Martin?
Not necessarily, just some old paint he had lying around. But it probably is one of the few hundred shades of BRG out there.

I've just painted a Stag in Brooklands Green and, freshly applied under paintshop lights, it looks just like that! Nice choice Mart!

"Some old paint he had lying around"....

No chance of matching that ever since some of the pigment will be on the side of the tin...even if you knew the code.

Shoulda left it french bleue...

Like the bonnet vents though.

Just had these emailed me. Now I'm keeping an open mind on the colour scheme until the side stripes have been put on. I like the colours mind you. Your comments, good or not so good are welcome. :D

It's BRG, there wasn't much chance of that anyway.

Looks very good. The pictures do show that the UK painters are the same as the Dutch painters. You're alway's ending up with white wall tyres......

OK, the paint isn't that old, just left over from a previous job. Jon looks after his paints very well. The green was darker but he lightened it up a bit to match the forthcoming stripes. All carefully documented, so he can mix the colour again if needed. :D

I like the bonnet vents too but I'm not sure how much they help with engine bay cooling. I added the vents about eight years ago, £16 off fleabay iirc.

Not just cooling but they will reduce front end lift a bit. You put them in the right place too. :)

I quite like the colour scheme. I can see it looking really well when it's finished.

Do the door tops green too and the rear pillar.

Seperate green and white with a gold flash.....

I was thinking about painting from the bottom of the windows, up and the 'D' pillar. But, after seeing it this afternoon in the flesh, I'm not so sure. Anyway, a few more pics...

It's now just going to have a plain 90mm. wide green stripe down both sides and maybe a couple of cream stripes up over the roof.

My first thought was to keep the original colour but I reckon the colour scheme will suit the purpose of this car.

OK, the ink in the printer was low and maybe a bit more brown in the orange (Dutch have only one orange colour) but this way it's easy to test.
