I believe you can get a glass fibre wing from the club for about £90 but I'm sure somebody on here will give you the precise information you need...
Failing all that why not try and source some good second hand metal panels (?), you might save yourself a few quid...
Good luck with the Toledo, it's a great choice of car...!

Yes, that's the price to club members so you'd be well advised to join for that and the other GRP parts and mechanical spares available.
There is the steel option but the one I have in mind - which is as new and still in transportation primer - would cost more than a pair of GRP ones and a GRP front end combined. I've seen and examined at close quarters a car fitted with Alun's GRP panels and the fit is superb. You simply can't tell by looking that they're not steel.
Another option, and one that would save you removing the rest of the wing if it's otherwise good, would be to cut a repair section from a scrap car and weld that in.
Good luck with this and please, keep coming back and asking questions. It's what we're here for.

thanks for your quick replies

the wing is damaged near where it meets the doo so im thinking it may be easyer to replace the whole thing !! just another question ive got a slight rumble noise coming from around the gear box when setting off do ya think it could be the gear box mount ??? thanks andrew

It may still be worth getting the wing repaired - probably best to get a few garages to take a look before spending out any money.
Rumble from the gearbox area could be that, but also other things too. The gearbox mount is the easiest one to fix though, so best to check it first.

If it is the gearbox mount, the stick will probably shake quite a lot at idle. Best to get your head underneath and take a peek.

Gearbox mount - yes.

Those may not be the best prices (although I think you'll have trouble beating the gearbox one) so shop around.
As I say, get underneath and have a look - if it is rubber bits that are knackered they will look quite obviously knackered.

GRP wings are now £100.00 each to Club members, there is also £20.00 P&P to factor in, but collection is welcomed.
