What a super little car show, well worth the trip out - The weather was dull and over casting with a light breeze but at least the rain kept away. There were some very nice car on show - the show winners were:

XK150 - peoples choice (each car had an envelopeunder the wiper - the car with the most pennies money won with 43p)
E-Type Jaguar (Blue) - best classic car on the day.
Porsche 911 - best sports car on the day
Steam Traction Emgine - best historic vehicle on the day
Morris Minor - best prepared on the show.

Hi Paul..many thanks for the pics. Shows are very much thin on the ground for me at the mo because of the damn weather!

The Mercedes coupe is a very, very nice thing indeed..

Loving that Durex GT (as people referred to these Rochdale back in the day) and it's refreshing to see a slate blue R12 there among all of the usual ponce metal.
I'd not have turned down a ride home in the Integrale replica or that lovely brown Mazda stood by the blue Dolomite.

Yeah I am sure I came across that blue R12 at a show over here last year.

Then it had a turntable on the dashboard (with fairy lights) which had model R12s sitting on it going around a perpetual round-about!

So a pretty typical '70s Renault owner then by the sounds of it.

Me too, I like the Renault 12.
(Where did it all go so wrong for Renault......?)

Paul, glad you enjoyed the show, we were so lucky with the weather.

Next one for me is the summer solstice run
