Wrote to the court explaining that the're payment system in no way came close to what I need to charge to cover my overheads, expenses etc.

Got a letter back saying I was excused. YEA ! :D

I guess they are probably used to that complaint.

I wouldn't have minded doing it but I would have to be properly compensated but it seems that they are not interested in paying the going rate. seems odd seeing as most council/government contracts are allways vastly over inflated compared to the public sector .
