The gauges were a bit higgledy piggaly so i have binned the wood and done all the dash and got rid of the rotten under dash card board and done it all in alum
Moved the 4 egt gauges down onto the gbox tunnel as well
Picky of the dash of my camera phone ( dont do it justice )
I tried carbon fibre but didnt like it

We have just been told that there is a new noise limit at brunters 87db
they have also fitted 4 cameras on the straight to see who is abusing the noise limit and you will be told to go forth
To say im most unimpressed is an understatement
Im still going and c what happens as there is a couple of cossies going and they allways do a good breakky there

Don't they have a vulcan bomber at Bruntingthorpe? I think that's a tiny bit louder than 87 dB...

the jedi master goes there a lot for testing, i'm sure he takes things that are louder, and my bike is louder than that and its used on the road all the time!

Yes and they have only a few days a year that there is no noise limit and non of them will be used for cars as the owner of brunters loves his jets

daz, it'd be cool if one evening you could return home via galley common to come n meet my skyline work colleague (and so I could have a sneaky look at your beast in the flesh!!). I've told him about your car etc etc and I'm not sure he believes me.
nearly every fookin day he rants at me about how fat his car is, he's got a boost control thing like yours mounted on a bracket on his dash, he also had a little traction bias control thing until his nipper kicked it and broke it... doh!
I dont know why he has all the toys, or a car with such ridiculous power because I doubt he can drive it.
problem is while he's generally a sound bloke he's full of crap, all he talks about is hp (reckons his is currently at about 700) and his beloved m8s next door at MGT, and the latest thing that broke, snapped, blew etc and that he's had to fork out a few hundred £ every time to fix/replace it.
the better thing to do would be to get him to come the next time you're at santa pod or something, because it seems based on his stories that the only time he drives his car is on the road as opposed to the track, so I always question his tales of 150-160mph
