Headlining Replacement

#1 Post by georgethompson730 »

Hi, More advice needed please, I may have managed to find myself a good replacement headlining :D it may need a small repair but is not glue stained that badly. Problem is, the old one I have removed became creased even with careful handling, how do I prevent or remove creases from the replacement headlining if the same happens to that?
This it turning into a right show stopper for my car, as headlining material of the correct spec is no longer available, is the only option to use a headlining from another car and can you get it looking good one fitted? as I don't want it to let the rest of the car down. I am very sad    as I only want the best for my car but don't know how to achieve it, pleas help :(

You can use a hair dryer on plastic/vinyl type head linnings to remove creases and make the head linning expand slightly, but dont trim any away as it will reduce in size as it cools,a second hand lining can be refitted but requires more efort, :D
