I'm looking after our club area at this event. If you wish to bring your car then inbox me and I'll send you all the details. Cost per car (not per person) is £5 pre-booked (via the booking form I'll send you) or £9 on the day, pay at the gate. Their website hasn't been updated yet and still shows the 2013 booking form.

Well I have no idea how my original post got this name as I didn't know that the BL event that I was referring to had anything to do with Eastern Dolly Day (and still don't!). Someone other than me must have renamed the post.

Count me in Colin. Had some good bargains at the auto jumble . Hope the weather is kind.

I'll be there, though likely without a Triumph. I have a wedding to attend locally the day before.

Well guys after having ankle surgery on Friday leaving me unable to drive for a while it's now looking extremely unlikely that I'll be at this event. For those of you that are going I have booked an area for Dollies so you shouldn't have any problem.

I turned up as I was in the area, it was great weather, which somewhat contradicted the relatively low turn out: I counted 7 cars in total. Four grouped together on the Club stand, RON1966 and RON13R with their respective white and brown Sprints together with an early model French Blue 1850 and a Carmine 1500. The orange early 1850 that contributes on here was parked nearby with another group, and then there were two fine examples of the 1500SE parked amongst the main field cars who seemed to be trying to form a 1500SE club all on their own. There was then a very nice early Mimosa Sprint on the Gay Classic Car Club stand which I have to say made their display for them; the rest of the cars on that stand were tawdry grey, brown and silver colours and not very gay at all!

Autojumble had little to offer, a nearside two door doorskin for £40 on Corley Classics stand, a front nearside four door doorskin and a toldeo near side rear wing, both marked at £65 on another stand, and then David Kingerley had pairs of ball joints, tops for £70 and lowers for £50 and union adapted master cylinders. RON1966 bagged a few bargains before me in the form of cables and the like, but there wasn't a lot else at all.

Not many Dollies but on the whole a good day. Not much dolly stuff at the auto jumble but managed to get a few goodies. Gary your russet Sprint is a superb example and must be one of the most original ones left for sure. The early 1850 and the carmine one are two cars I have not come across before but still very smart cars. Also thank you Colin for organising an area for our cars as well.
