Can the classic oils we use in our cars, also be used in a classic mini. thinking of 20/50 oils.

Just wondering if the integral gearbox makes any difference to the oil required?

Thanks...

I hear good things about halfords classic stuff.

I use it in the MG, and it serves it's purpose. Not sure I'd like to put it in a newly rebuilt engine though.

Should be fine. However, Millers do a specific oil for the mini. May be worth a punt. Was £19 a tub on the L2B mini run, bargain!

At that price, it is a no-brainer if it is for 5 litres. I thought that the Mini would use normal 20W50 oil. Millers do this oil for a similar price.

Its got the proper additives for the gearbox and is worth the extra.
