The viscous fan on my spitty is leaking can they be stripped and resealed or is it bin fodder?

Throw in the bin, they are easily available.

Bin it, you can't fix it!

Cheers, I really don't like binning things especially if they can be salvaged or rebuilt but looks like I'm gonna have to bin this one.

probably cheapest (and most reliable) to fit a non viscous pump and matching plastic fan.

Go electric.
Waste of power.

Good point Jonners, I'm going electric on the Austin Big 7 but the spitty is a budget oily rag restro so I have used a pump from my spares stash.
Total spent so far including cost of car (300) and MOT (40) is about £455 and it is now running and road legal.
