Dolly (sprint?) in difficulties

On my way home this evening, I saw a Dolly pulled in to the side of the road on the A4174 Bristol ring road between Kingsfield Roundabout and the Tower Lane/Wraxall Road roundabout. I don't know what model it was, but it had sprint wheels, and I didn't catch the reg number. Sadly, I couldn't pull over to help because of all the traffic on the dual carriageway, but the driver seemed to be sitting there quite calmy, with the window down and his elbow sticking out. I hope he got home ok.
