Sprint Chassis plates positioning

Does anyone know which way around the chassis VIN plate and the serial number plate go on L/H inner wing when looking from right hand side of car

It should be the right way up from the position you have already said. Mine is in the local garage for the subframe mount and the surrounding inner wing to be reconstructed so I can't easily check it. I know mine is upside down so that's something else I need to rectify. I'll have to carefully drill out the rivets and rivet it back on the correct way up.

They are supposed to be upside down, so they can be easily read as you peer over the wing at it!!
