Sprint Dizzy Bush

I'm just overhauling the dizzy (44D4) for XJX and have noticed a fair bit of slack in the bush. I'm probably going to fit leccy ignition so this won't be so much of a problem but can you buy replacement bushes for said dizzy? I'm just going back down to my garage to see how easy (or not) it is to remove the bush.

OK, so straight away I realised there are two bushes, upper & lower, both of similar size. To get them out I found a long series socket did the job. I pushed them both out from below in the vise, pushing one on to the other before they both dropped out in the dizzy body. Putting them back in you push one in from one end and one from the other end.

I noticed that it was the top bush that was the main culprit so I removed the bushes from another dizzy and used both the bottom bushes in my rebuilt one. Worked a treat, very little movement.

It dawned on me that the OD and ID are the same as the crankshaft spigot bush. Putting them side-by-side the spigot bush is about 2mm. longer. Fairly easy to grind a couple of mil off and have the ground ends towards each other in the dizzy (on saying that, I'm sure you can get oilite bushes the correct length). But what about the material? The dizzy bushes seem to be steel of some sort but the spigot bushes are oilite.
