What do you carry?

Hi Everyone,
As the dolomite is getting closer to the road just for fun I thought i'd pose a question,

What do you always have with you in your car?

Now I would start but I haven't been out for a drive yet....

I'll do an imaginary list!
First aid kit,
Fire extinguisher,
Torch,
Warning triangle,
Hi-viz,
Wheel changing kit,
Spare wheel,
Small tool kit?
Picnic blanket.

I'd love to hear how sparse or full you keep your cars-
It'll be interesting to see how much it varies!

RAC card, most definitely

I've got a small shoebox sized toolbox containing:

Basic set of spanners
Screwdriver
Sandpaper
Feeler gauges
Wire
Electrical tape
Fuses
Tyre pressure gauge
1 old spark plug
Old points and condenser (I've gone electronic but just in case!)
Old distributor cap
Old rotor arm
1 spare HT lead
2 spare wheel nuts
LED torch
Bulbs

Plus the original Triumph toolkit that fits in the wheel well:

Spark plug socket
Wheel nut removal brace
Jack
Breaker bar

There's a warning triangle in there too.

Also make sure your spare wheel has a decent tyre and inflated!

In the glovebox I've got a phone charging cable and cigar lighter USB adapter.

This is definitely Dolomite-related so I've moved the thread here. I have a small selection of tools and like Howard, I have a set of points and condenser even though I'm on electronic ignition.

An umbrella, a torch and a coat - for some reason it is more likely to breakdown when it is dark, raining and freezing cold. Another good reason to belong to a breakdown service!

A fire extinguisher mounted where you can reach it whilst still in the driving seat and a small multimeter as most issues I've had tend to be electrical due to poor connections in the old wiring. Last one was in the big junction box where the brown wires exit from the cable from battery to starter. Otherwise just a decent small toolkit and something to clean your hands after you've fixed it.

Don't forget to check the tyre spare pressure regularly, BUT I also carry one of those tyre inflator / sealer cans just in case I don't want to change the wheel (on the side of the motorway, when it is cold, raining and dark)!

Breakdown recovery card
Imperial Spanner set
Socket set
Selection of screwdrivers
Pliers
Wire cutters
Torque wrench
20/50W oil
Coolant
2l Bottle of water
Brake fluid
Fuses
Spark plugs
Bulbs

Amusingly I don't have a spare tyre or a jack in either of the cars at the moment.
