I expect he will come back to suck some blood.
A good age and a fine actor.

He was also involved in special operations during the war, being fluent in several languages German and Italian amongst them (he was half Italian by birth). He never disclosed any details of what he did. One interviewer allegedly pestered him for some content of his contribution and Lee apparently leaned forward and asked the interviewer if he could keep a secret? The interviewer excitedly responded that he could. So can I, replied Lee, as he leaned back in the chair. The only time he let something slip was on stage once during rehearsal when the producer told him to imagine the sound a man makes when he's stabbed, his response being 'I have no need to imagine that'

I never knew that thanks Alun.
I love the Hammer horror films that he made his own and like the "Carry On" films that were made at the same time they sort of identify an innocence with the times they were made.
Furthermore....

In his later years he took his love of heavy metal and especially thrash metal from avid fan to recording artist,
enjoying some success including winning a Metal Hammer award.
